About Spectrum Health Care
Spectrum Health Care was founded in 1992 by a group of socially concerned members of the United Methodist Church. Originally named Rain (Regional Aids Interfaith Network), the organization was focused on providing compassionate care to people dying of AIDS in Central Missouri.
Spectrum Health Care received its first case management contract in 1998 and hired its first 2 case managers. As the years have progressed, Spectrum has continued to add additional case managers, including those specifically assigned to incarcerated individuals, as patient numbers increase.
