About White Oaks Barn
We are a fifth generation farming family from Northeast Missouri. Our farming operation consists of raising corn, soybeans and beef cattle in the Shoal Creek Bottom on the east end of Putnam County. With two young men coming back to the farm, we had to look for other means of income to support our family. After attending a few weddings held at wedding barns on other farms, we thought this might be a possible venture to pursue on our own land. However, the distance from our farm to any lodging and other amenities was too great to make our idea feasible. After two years of searching, we recently acquired a parcel of land just south of Kirksville with all the beautiful characteristics that we hold dear on our own farm. We are excited to announce that the Minear family will soon begin construction on the White Oaks Wedding Barn and Event Venue at the junction of Highway 11 and 63. With this opportunity we hope to provide the perfect venue for your special event at the White Oaks Barn!
