Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the self-quarantine request, the Lanier County Board of Tax Assessors is making a few changes to the exemption deadlines and the monthly meetings.  Effective March 25, 2020, The Lanier County Board of Tax Assessors’ monthly meetings have been postponed until further notice.  The Board is also extending the deadlines for Personal Property Returns, Homestead Exemptions, and covenants for both Conservation Use and Forest Land Protection Act to May 1, 2020.  If you need further assistance with any of these matters, please give us a call at 229-482-2090.

Due to the current coronavirus crisis, NIH/SVC social distancing guidelines, and recommendations from National Council BSA, we have made the decision to postpone our local fundraising event  scheduled for 4/14/20. At this time our local council business office has an urgent need for cash to pay bills with. For this reason it would be appreciated by them and me if you could go ahead and send in your pledges soon. We can still plan to hold our donor appreciation dinner at a later date, so please continue to recruit new prospects if you can.                                                        Again, thank you for your past generosity. I'll be seeing you soon.
