College Of Marin
Welcome to the College of Marin, an institution with a rich legacy of over 80 years dedicated to shaping futures and empowering individuals through education. Established in 1926, our commitment to educational excellence has remained unwavering, allowing us to guide students toward successful careers, academic advancement, and a lifelong love for learning. With campuses in Kentfield and Novato, we offer an array of credit and noncredit courses, providing affordable access to education for students of all ages.
Situated just 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, our Kentfield Campus at 835 College Avenue is a hub of academic vibrancy. The Indian Valley Campus in Novato, nestled on a breathtaking 333-acre site, expands our reach, offering diverse educational opportunities. As one of 116 public community colleges in California, the College of Marin welcomes over 9,000 credit, noncredit, and community education students annually. Our accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges underscores our commitment to academic standards and quality education.
At the heart of our mission is a dedication to diversity, equity, and belonging. We prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions, provide career technical education, enhance basic skills, and offer programs such as English as a second language. Our commitment extends beyond the classroom, responding to community needs and promoting social, racial, and environmental justice. Our values, rooted in student and community-centered education, academic excellence, collaboration, diversity, sustainability, and accountability, shape every aspect of our institution. Join us at the College of Marin, where we believe in nurturing potential and fostering success for all in our diverse community.
