This Wonderful Life Free Screening!
Karen Rinehart FREE PRE CONCUSSION BASELINE SCREENING St. Vincent Hospital Sunday, December 16th from 12-4pm. • Everyone should have a baseline evaluation by a healthcare professional prior to participating in sports or activities that could cause a head injury. • This allows for a point of reference for comparison after an injury and allows for better treatment of the brain injury after sustaining a concussion. SVH will also be fitting and giving out free helmets at this time. Please come to the front desk of the hospital and mention that you are there for a concussion screening. Please contact Heather Damon, PA-C at hdamon@svghd.org or 486-0230 to arrange a time for your free evaluation. If you are unable to make it during this time for your evaluation you may also contact Heather Damon. Helmets do not prevent concussions, but they can help limit the severity of the injury. Greg Labbe I know that it has been far too long since you have had the pleasure of greeting our visitors. Thankfully, your wait is over. Heather will be taking some well-deserved vacation in the last two weeks of December and the first week of January. During that time, we would like to keep the Visitor's Center open as much as possible in order to greet those visitors hardy enough to venture up into the mountains in celebration of the beginning of Winter. We hope that the snows will come and Ski Cooper will be hosting hundreds, if not thousands of skiers and potential tourists. Sign Up Today! |
