TWIN TUNNELS Weekly Traffic Advisory Blasting Operations Rescheduled

IDAHO SPRINGS – Daytime and overnight lane closures are scheduled next week at the Twin Tunnels on Interstate 70 at the east end of Idaho Springs for rock drilling, scaling, grouting and wall construction.  Blasting operations – originally scheduled on Tuesday and Friday – now will take place early on  Thursday.  
            The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will implement the following closures:

Colorado Mountain College ranks in top 20 in nationwide community college study

CNNMoney reports Colorado Mountain College ranks in the top 20 out of nearly 800 community colleges from around the nation for successful graduation and transfer rates. The ranking was created for the news outlet by College Measures, a leading researcher of comparative value within higher education.

CMC’s “success rate” earned the college the No. 17 slot nationally, as well as the No. 1 ranking within Colorado. This places the college in the top 2 percent of success rates among all medium-sized public community colleges.
