Director's Corner

Hello Members,
I hope that everyone has noticed and is benefiting from the traffic that we have coming through town so far this season.  The Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center is welcoming between 100-150 people per day which is a remarkable 800 to 1000 visitors per week, and for mid-June those are good numbers.  We are now open 7 days a week which should translate into well informed visitors who spend more time in the county, and better exposure and revenue possibilities for member businesses.  For your reference, I have repeated the hours of operation in this newsletter.

REMINDER OF UPCOMING ACTIVITIES:
Business After Hours:  At the Healy House and Dexter Cabin Museum on June 27th from 5:30-7:30pm.

4th of July Parade: July 4th at 10:00am.  Line-up begins at 9:30am.

Please see more information on both of these events in this week's newsletter.

I am still receiving returned mail and emails from members.  As we audit our member contact information for accuracy and current info, if you know someone who is a Chamber member and has not been receiving email or mail correspondence from us, please have them contact the Chamber and update anything that is necessary.

Thank you,
Jeff McGuinness
