Mile High Jeep Club coming to Leadville!

ANNOUNCEMENT:  The Mile High Jeep Club will be holding its 47th annual "All-4-Fun" event in Lake County from July 28th to August 4th, 2013.

This is a BIG event that is expected to attract 600 participants in 275 or so vehicles.  Most of the event participants will be camped on about 80 acres near the Halfmoon gravel pit.  Because it is a week long event, participants are expected to spend a fair amount of time in Leadville and Twin Lakes shopping, dining, and enjoying everything Lake County businesses have to offer.

There are expected to be a number of revenue opportunities for local business including a community and local business appreciation event near the beginning of the week, opportunities for food establishments to serve participants on-site throughout the week, and a vendor fair at the end of the week.

The Mile High Jeep Club is determined to benefit businesses in the county to every extent possible during this event, and they like the location the county has provided so much that they hope to make Lake County part of their regular four year rotation.  This would be a great event to add to Lake County's portfolio, so the Chamber of Commerce will be taking the lead to make sure all necessary information and related business opportunities are effectively communicated to its member businesses.

More information on this event will be distributed to Chamber members soon, so please keep an eye out for it.  If you have any initial questions, please feel free to contact me at the Chamber at 486-3900.
