McKay is a business leader, author, professor, and podcaster. He is currently the CEO of Thanksgiving Point Institute, which serves children in his local community. Christensen’s career began at Procter & Gamble after graduating with an MBA and MAcc from the BYU Marriott School of Business. He has held various other leadership positions in business including Director of Strategic Planning for Holiday Worldwide, President and Chief Strategy Officer for Melaleuca, COO for KLAS Research, and Managing Director for Advancement at BYU. 
McKay earned a Ph.D. in Adult and Organization Learning and teaches business strategy at the BYU Marriott School of Business. He co-wrote Open Your Eyes published by Thomas Nelson- Harper Collins. McKay and his wife, Jennifer live in Alpine, Utah. They have five children and seven grandchildren.

The Chamber of Commerce is now partnering with
Lehi and Saratoga Springs Cities on the Chamber magazine! 

This means the magazine will contain more information, and will be delivered to more homes and businesses than ever before! The magazine has grown into an amazing regional guide. What is the purpose of the Community and Chamber Guide?
The magazine will expand your business-to-consumer and business-to-business connections in our community. It will provide an opportunity for Chamber members and other businesses to reach residents and those relocating to North Utah County.

• Activities and events in the area
• Economic growth opportunities for new and relocating businesses
• A comprehensive directory of Chamber member organizations, including highlights of award winners

 Who will the Community and Chamber Guide reach?

The guide will allow advertisers to reach a large and diverse group of consumers and businesses in the community through the Daily Heralds distribution system. Tens of thousands of copies of the magazine will be printed with opportunities for advertising and editorial content.

The Business classes at Westlake, Lehi, American Fork, Cedar Valley, and Mountain View High are hosting a
Teen Entrepreneur Expo on Saturday May 14th!

"We want to extend an opportunity to teen's in Northern Utah County to run a pop up shop at The Outlets at Traverse Mountain from 8am until 3pm. Any high school entrepreneur is invited to come run a pop up shop for free at the expo. This isn't a fundraiser. There will be food trucks, live music/entertainment, and tons of tents in an open air market format."

 

We delivered the first of many bundles of "Welcome to the Neighborhood" totes this morning to Saratoga Springs City offices! If you're not participating yet, it's time to jump in. This is a member benefit, there is no cost to participate. Simply provide the chamber with your marketing materials and we do the rest!

This chamber tote, containing offers from chamber members, is one of the best ways to make a connection with new residents.
