About Margaretville Health Foundation
Margaretville Health Foundation seeks to provide funding and uphold the needs of Margaretville Hospital and Mountainside Residential Care Center. Part of the HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, both healthcare facilities have been nationally recognized. The Margaretville Hospital Campus has been named one of the Top 100 Critical access Hospitals (CAHs) in the country. Mountainside Residential Care Center has received 5-star ratings in U.S. News and World Reports Best Nursing Homes in 2012 and 2013 issues.
The Foundation serves as a strategic and proactive fundraising hub, communicating the goals of the hospital and the nursing home to potential donors, and raising awareness of the essential roles that both facilities play in the community. Through targeted and broad outreach, it emphasizes the importance of philanthropic contributions in achieving quality healthcare along with improved quality of life in our local community.
