Its that time of year again: Back to School! 
Its time to start back on that routine, getting to bed a little earlier, homework and after school activities. Which only means 1 thing... FOOTBALL SEASON!  You see for me (Texan) Friday night lights is where all the fun was. But it was more than just going to the football game, basketball game, volleyball game, it was the spirit weeks, it was wearing my school colors on Fridays. So I want to challenge everyone during the school year... wear red Fridays. Show your school spirit - and snap a picture of it!  #marshallpride

Be ready for a big announcement/competition coming in October, we will release all the information in Septembers newsletter. It will be a lot of fun to bring a lot of creativity out in the community. 

On July 24, 2017, the Marshall City Council passed an ordinance to change outdoor dining. An application can be found on the City of Marshall Website under business and permits. You can contact the City or the Chamber for more information. Outdoor dining puts activity and eyes on the street, creating a greater sense of safety and community. Dining outdoors is very inviting to many people, and outdoor dining can turn an area into a pedestrian and community destination. 

The Marshall Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing is scheduled for September 15th. This yearly fundraiser, is the only fundraiser the Chamber does that directly benefits the Chamber to continue its mission. You can sign up online as a team of 4, you can also sponsor a hole and pay online.
