August was a time for us to get caught up around the office, and boy did we catch up and get ahead. Bloodworth Painting painted the front of the Chamber, and we felt like the interior was starting to drag us down, so we painted the lobby and it received a fresh facelift.
September never disappoints us around the Chamber. We are hosting our annual golf outing on Friday September 15th, This is the only fundraiser the Chamber holds to help support the programs and daily office expenses it costs to keep the office up and going. So please consider a hole sponsorship or putting a team together.
We are also very excited about the October Scarecrow contest! Be sure to get signed up, we currently have 5 entires. Deadline for your entry is October 9th and voting will take place October 10-30th with the winner announced before the frolic on the 31st!
Marshall High School Business class is wanting to help you! They are looking for businesses that are wanting some design work: logo creation, marketing pieces, business cards, brochures, and rack cards. The instructor will assist the students and you will receive options to choose from the creations created. Contact Dara Gard

The hope is that all money received for art work would go into a fund for the class to purchase a printer to print posters, and other specialty items.
