Congratulations to the Class of 2021 AND congrats to the Marshall School administrative staff, teachers, and students on surviving a difficult year. You all did it with class, dignity, and grace. You should all be proud!
This past week normally holds the national convention for retailers. Due to COVID-19, it was held virtually. I had the opportunity to hear speakers from national retailers like Target, Ulta, and Amazon, discuss the transitions and pivots they have had to make in their business in the last 18 months. It made me think how much every single business has had to pivot, no matter its size. We all want to give our customers the best customer experience, whether it's in the store, online, curbside pick up, or delivery, it's all about meeting the customer's needs. In the last 5 years you could see customers wanting more delivery or curbside pick up, the pandemic has only accelerated that need. Now is the time, to take a step back and understand what your customers are wanting and try and meet those needs. I am here to help should you need anything.
I hope to see many of you this summer at the pool, band concerts, and ribbon cuttings!
