Do You Know a Woman of Excellence?
Is there a Woman of Excellence in your life? The Melbourne Regional Chamber’s Women of Excellence council is launching a new social media program to recognize local women who excel in the workforce and in the community.
Nominations are simple! Use this quick Google form to tell us why your coworker, boss, friend or neighbor deserves a shout-out as a Woman of Excellence, and we'll feature several amazing women each week. A random winner will be drawn at each of our Women of Excellence events (starting at our first event March 23) and will receive a special prize package!

A Note from President & CEO, Michael Ayers
Dear MRC Members,
Happy Monday! Our newsletter will now be coming to you on Mondays, twice monthly, to help you start your week off with the latest MRC news and updates.
Last week, we were thrilled to have our first in-person Good Morning Space Coast in quite some time. Attendance was limited to ensure physical distancing, and we thank all of our attendees for their adherence to our mask policy. We hope this is the sign of brighter and healthier days ahead!
We have many upcoming opportunities for you to share your voice, your brand and your latest news. Keep reading for more information and contact a member of the team to get involved or learn more!
Sincerely,
Michael

Pay it Forward to Help a Nonprofit
Due to the pandemic, many nonprofits are suffering. You can help them get back on their feet by paying their membership dues for a year or by purchasing a sponsorship or speaking opportunity at an MRC event.
Several member businesses and individuals have already taken advantage of this opportunity to "pay it forward" and sponsor a nonprofit, including Sandy Michelson, Michelle Masline, David Cable, PowerWith Consulting, Union Home Mortgage, Peoples Financial Planning of Raymond James and Bank of America/Merrill. For more information about how you can help, contact Melody.
Indian River Lagoon Survey
Please take a moment to help the Brevard County Natural Resources Management Department make informed decisions regarding lagoon-related programs and outreach. The department is currently conducting a countywide online survey about the Indian River Lagoon, and is hoping to hear from both residents and business owners in Brevard County.
