A Note from President & CEO, Michael Ayers

Dear Partners,

Summer is almost here and it feels like we're finally starting to enjoy some normalcy. We are seeing more and more people at our in-person events and registrations are filling up more quickly. As you'll see in our revised Covid policy below, we are still limiting attendance to allow for social distancing, so please be sure to register for events early!

Our first ever Comedy Night, presented by VRBA, is sold out for tomorrow night, and our May 27 Good Morning Space Coast: State of the State has just a few seats remaining! A virtual option is available for those who can't join us in person. We'll be hearing from our state legislators as well as sharing a few big announcements so be sure to register now.

Recently, we've welcomed two new staff members and a summer intern. Chris Allison has joined us as the new Partnership Coordinator and Judy Petramale is our new Office Coordinator. Our summer intern is Riley Draper.  Their bios and headshots will be posted on our website soon! Please be sure to say hello and introduce yourselves.

Sincerely,

Michael

Good Morning Space Coast, State of the State: May 27

There are just a few seats left for this Thursday's State of the State breakfast. Those who cannot attend in person are welcome to join us via Zoom. Register now.

Small Business Council: June 1

Don't miss guest speaker Adam Martingano, founder and chief strategist of GO, a strategic branding and sales enablement firm, as he presents: "Sales Logic, Six Steps To Mastering Conversational Selling."

"Let's face it, whether we know it or not, we're all salespeople at some point, but that doesn't mean you have to 'sell' like a salesperson," says Adam. In this session, he'll introduce you to several ground-breaking strategies that will help you master the art of Conversational Selling. Our May event was sold out, so be sure to register today.

Revised MRC Covid Policy

In keeping with newly released CDC guidelines, the Melbourne Regional Chamber will no longer require face coverings for persons who have been fully vaccinated. We ask that if you have not been vaccinated, you continue to take the necessary precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19, including wearing a mask and observing social distancing guidelines. This policy will be based on the honor system.

We will continue to provide hand sanitizers and masks at our events for those who wish to use them, as well as limiting attendance to allow for increased physical distance between our guests.

Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
