Congratulations Pope County Tribune
Congratulations to Pope County Tribune on winning six awards at this year's annual newspaper convention. The Minnewaska Visitor Guide won first place for the “best magazine”. The 2020 Minnewaska Visitor Guide will be available soon and can be found at many area businesses and always available at the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center.
The Welcome Center sends out this publication yearly all over the state of Minnesota. The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center also participates with the Explore Minnesota Leadshare Program, which is an on-line request for tourist information. Last year we sent over 100 copies of this publication to people all over the United States and yes, to other countries too.

Newcomers Happy Hour
Join us on Thursday, February 27 at 5:00 p.m. or whenever you can make it! We will be meeting at Lake Reno Bar & Grill, 14566 MN-29, Glenwood. See you there!
Pickleball
Pickleball will be available to play indoors on Sundays through May 3, 2020 in the Auxiliary gym at Minnewaska High School from 12:30-2:30 p.m. You may use the schools nets, paddles and balls.
For more information call 320-239-1305 for directions to the gym, and punch card payment. There will be no cash payment available.

Various booth sizes and types are available.
Register early for best location selection.
Chamber Members are entitled to a 50% discount on booth prices!

Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills
This year, we have the following discounted tickets to offer (while supplies last):
- Tubing Ticket (2 Hour Pass): $20
- Lift Ticket: $25
- Lift Ticket and Regular Ski Rental: $30
- Lift Ticket and Snowboard Rental: $40
These tickets can ONLY be purchased through Friday, February 14, 2020 until 4:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center and are NOT available on site at Andes Tower Hills!
**Make up date will be Saturday, February 22nd if closed due to weather.

Pope County Mobile
Food Drop
The next Mobile Food Drop will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at Glenwood United Parish, 10 17th Ave NW, Glenwood. Registration is at 11 a.m. and food distribution is from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring boxes to carry your food.
The Mobile Food Drop is a monthly food distribution event. Anyone who eats and lives in Pope County is able to utilize this program.
This monthly event is made possible by the United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties.
