Pope County Tribune As always there is plenty to do in Pope County! Check out the Pope County Tribune and Starbuck Times for more information. Community Announcements Pope County Mobile Food Drop The next Mobile Food Drop will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at Glenwood United Parish, 10 17th Ave NW, Glenwood. Registration is at 11 a.m. and food distribution is from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring boxes to carry your food.
The Mobile Food Drop is a monthly food distribution event. Anyone who eats and lives in Pope County is able to utilize this program.
This monthly event is made possible by the United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties. March is Minnesota Food Share Month
Fill a bag for our local food shelf and get a discount on your newspaper subscription!
Respond to our community’s needs by filling a grocery bag with food and household items for our local Pope County Hearts & Hands Food Shelf and bring it into the Pope County Tribune.
For every bag full of needed items, you will receive $10 off a Pope County Tribune yearly subscription OR, if you would prefer to make a donation of $10.00 to the food shelf you will also receive $10 off a subscription.
Donations must be made at the Pope County Tribune Office.
