RIBBON CUTTING FOR The SILO
We had a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of The Silo on March 30, 2022. They are located at 212 Michigan Ave., Marshall, Illinois. Come out and support a new business in Marshall.
The Silo is an eatery and ale house. They specialize in gourmet items and adding a special twist to a classic cuisine. The Silo is open 7 days a week and the kitchen is open from 11am -9pm for dine in or carry out. Their phone number is 217-251-1057. Like their Facebook page “The Silo” for any updates. Juston and Hannah Spittler are the owners, and they also own Roosters Farm Market and The Coop located next door to The Silo. Roosters Farm Market won the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce 2022 Business of the Year Award. They are well known in our community as a delicious place to eat.
Hannah Spittler says “We are blessed to be a part of such an amazing community. It’s more than a community it’s a family! We are so incredibly grateful for all the support. We are so excited and proud to introduce The Silo! Truly a one of a kind!” She also said “I want to give a HUGE and special thanks to Orman Construction for introducing this idea and hand crafting it! Josh, Ethan and crew are AMAZING!!”

MOGA is the world's largest, longest running, annual geocaching competition.
What is geocaching? It is the recreational activity of hunting for and finding a hidden object called caches by means of GPS coordinates posted on a website.
You will see people scattered all around the county looking for hidden objects. Go to https://mogageo.com/ and check out the schedule for the line up of events. More to come on this fun adventure, but save the date so you can join in the fun.
