Deadline to enter is 3/1/23 at 5:00 pm. Winner will be announced via video on 3/4/23 at noon. Participants will need to submit a minimum of a two page essay on an important lesson you have learned during your teenage years. Essays may be emailed to onceuponaroseottawa@gmail.com or delivered in person during business hours, Wednesday through Saturday 10-5. Eligibility criteria: This dress must be for the participant’s use. Participants may not be related to owner, partners, or vendors of Once Upon A Rose. Sponsorship Program Application |
The Franklin County Tourism Department is pleased to announce the 2023 Sponsorship Program. Funding given through this program is intended to support events and programs in Franklin County that positively impact tourism in all Franklin County communities.
The 2023 application period will be open until Friday, March 10, 2023. The paper application can be accessed by the button adjacent. Award allocations will be reviewed by the Board of County Commissioners and announced during a public meeting soon thereafter. An award letter will follow that meeting. |

Citywide Clean-Up Weekend |
The City of Ottawa will be conducting a citywide clean-up weekend for residents living within the city limits on Friday, March 31st through Saturday, April 1, 2023.
Dumpsters will be available Friday at 8:00 am through 3:00 pm on Saturday at the following locations: • Near Franklin County Recycling Center (2000 Block Elm Street); • Parking lot west of City Hall (101 South Hickory Street); • Salt storage shed (1300 block of north Cherry Street east side) |

We're throwing a party on April Fool's day to celebrate bicycles and the people who love them. Our Intergalactic Surly Summit will bring the non-competitive cycling community together to ride bikes, share stories, and enjoy a great time with awesome people. We'll have a bike show, swap meet, ride-out, and a visit to our favorite local brewery. You don't have to own a Surly to join the fun.
