We've been busy with meetings this month between our regular monthly meeting and our strategic planning meetings...in two weeks our Director Bobby Gott will be making a presentation about analytics. As part of the Chamber Coalition, we met for our regularly monthly meeting last week and received some interesting information from Sierra County on their economic development initiatives. Many thanks to JDX for hosting us on Live at Five with Aaron and Amanda on Tuesday and again this morning with Chris and Andrea! |

Look for Cheryl around town - it's time for the Sparkle and Groundhog Fever Festival surveys!
She'll be bringing them by our lodging providers and taking them to specified businesses downtown for feedback. If you would like to participate in the survey but don't fall into either of these categories, we'd still love to hear from you! Give us a call at (530) 394-0541 or email us at info@quincychamber.com and we'd be happy to email you one. Please do take a minute to complete them; they will help guide us with future event planning and apply for more advertising grants. |

It's time to whip up a new batch of salsa for next Tuesday's Best of Plumas Dipping Salsa Competition! If you can dip a tortilla chip in it, it probably qualifies as salsa. Classic, strawberry, mango, hot, mild...it's a pretty broad category. You can fill out an entry form on-line or at Sav Mor foods. Bring your salsa (we'll have our own chips) to the Fair office next Tuesday, February 20 between 4pm and 5:30pm. Winner receives a Best of Plumas Rosette, a personalized plaque and a $100 gift card from our sponsor, Sav Mor Foods!
We want to take a minute to tell the folks at Sav Mor how much we really appreciate their support for this truly local competition. Thank You Sav Mor! |
