Celebrating 100 Years in Plumas County |
|
|
Oakland Feather River Camp is on track to welcome hundreds more campers during their Youth Camp, rental group, and Labor Day Weekend programs, but their summer Family Camp program is wrapping up this weekend. It's been an amazing 6 weeks as they celebrate our 100th anniversary! Enjoy a few comments and photos 2024 Family Campers have shared with them.
“Our favorite summer tradition - we look forward to arts and crafts, silly games, hysterical and moving musical acts and strong feelings of family togetherness.” “It is so important for us to be around open minded inclusive people in an environment that feels safe and comfortable. OFRC provides that for us.”
“OFRC has been an anchor as I have grown up and matured. Thanks to this camp, I have stayed close to some of my oldest friends and reconnected with people. Time in nature is priceless.”
“The beauty of the Plumas Forest, the ease of having all meals provided, the camaraderie of other parents and kids all make this a joyous space.” |
