Sponsor the Barrel Train
Peckham's Pumpkin Patch at Pleasant Ridge |
We have purchased this barrel train to use at the Pumpkin Patch this Fall. We will have to hire another employee to operate the train. If we run it 4 hours per day for 6 weekends, that will cost us about $600. To cover those costs, we would need to charge to ride the train or raise the admission price to the Pumpkin Patch. Our preferred option is to find a sponsor to help cover part of those costs. If you would like to help us keep the barrel train free for the kids to ride, we would post a sign at the loading area with your company name on it and post a link to your website on our Peckham’s Pumpkin Patch webpage. We’re asking $300, half the cost to operate the train, for that opportunity. Or for $100, we’ll put your name or logo on one the barrels.

We are particularly in need of registered Democrat poll workers. Election Statute 25-2802 states that the political affiliation of judges and clerks of election is regulated to ensure a balanced representation of different parties. If you're passionate about democracy and willing to lend a hand on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, we encourage you to apply today!
