Chili: beans or no beans? You be the judge! Join us on Saturday, January 28th, for our first Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser in support of our preschool. This fundraiser is open to the public.
Entry fee to compete is $20 for a chance to be crowned Chili King or Queen and receive a $50 cash prize. The winner will be determined by vote of the tasters. A goodwill donation is asked for tasters. Fees and offerings will be payable via cash and PayPal at the door of the competition.
Competitors and tasters are asked to register at faithottawa.org/chili by Sunday, January 19nd, though walk-in tasters are welcome.

Ottawa Main Street Association is excited to announce that we are hosting a Transformational Strategy Workshop in February. This event is provided and underwritten by the Kansas Main Street Program in cooperation with Main Street America.
Simply put, a Transformational Strategy is an economic strategy specific to downtown Ottawa. Your insights and perspectives are invaluable as we work towards this strategy so we need your opinions BEFORE our workshop.

AdventHealth Ottawa is pleased to welcome obstetrician-gynecologist Bridget Abney, MD, FACOG. Dr. Abney is Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and recognized as a Fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Abney earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and completed her residencies at Belleville Family Practice and the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She brings more than 25 years of experience to AdventHealth Ottawa and surrounding region.
Dr. Abney will provide outpatient OBGYN services at her office located at 901 S. Main Street in Ottawa, Kan., in the AdventHealth Ottawa Health Park. She has admitting privileges and will deliver patients at AdventHealth South Overland Park and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. Recruiting efforts are underway for labor and delivery services at AdventHealth Ottawa, and Dr. Abney will have admitting privileges there when labor and delivery services resume at that location. |
