MEET THE SPEAKER:
Meg McDaniel is the senior manager of regional sales for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The LVCVA is the destination marketing organization for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, and its mission centers on attracting visitors by promoting the destination as the world’s most desirable destination for leisure and business travel. The LVCVA also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center.
With more than 25 years of experience in the tourism industry, in her role, Ms. McDaniel promotes travel to Southern Nevada’s extended destinations, including Boulder City, Laughlin, Mesquite and Primm. She has received the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce Customer Excellence Award three times: 1995, 2013 and 2018. She won the 2001 Laughlin Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Award for Tourism and was a finalist for their Humanitarian of the Year award in 2009.
Ms. McDaniel is a member of the Mohave County Airport Authority, secretary/treasurer for the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition, current member and past president of the Rotary Club of Laughlin, and a member of numerous travel industry organizations.

If you want to be "in the know" about what's happening in Mesquite, this event is for you! The presentations will be made in Rapid Fire format where you will hear many Chamber members give quick informative updates, one after the other, about things going on in and around Mesquite. Registration is $10 and includes breakfast.
