Building Strong Readers & Skilled Educators
Phillips Fundamental Learning Center (PFLC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) offering specialized programs to support both young learners and those who teach them. Our mission is: “all kids reading, all kids succeeding.”
For Children (Ages 5-11): Their 24 one-hour literacy lessons are designed for children new to PFLC, providing a strong foundation in reading, writing, and spelling before the school year begins. This program is an intensive, accelerated version of our traditional Fiber Optic training program, equipping you with 3 Fiber Optic Association-sanctioned Certifications in 5 Days. No prior experience necessary. This five-day boot camp includes our three foundational, certified fiber optic courses--Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT), Certified Fiber Optic Specialist - Outside Plant (OSP) Cabling (CFOS/O), and Certified Fiber Optics Specialist/Testing & Maintenance. Cost includes study materials, exam fees and textbooks for all three courses.
