This event is a vibrant celebration, bringing together our brilliant high school interns,
their proud families, our esteemed business partners, and supportive community members for a night to remember. The festivities begin with a lively cocktail/mocktail hour—perfect for our interns to mingle, network, and flaunt their newly polished skills. As the evening
unfolds, we'll enjoy delicious food and move on to a ceremony where our interns will be
honored with medals, and our business partners will receive well-deserved plaques. Listen to
inspiring stories of their remarkable experiences. The climax of the night features the
thrilling announcement of scholarships for some of our dedicated students advancing to
college or trade schools. It's a memorable night celebrating the hard work, achievements, and
bright futures of these exceptional students.

Board Member Panel:
Becki Ross has owned her business since January, 2009. She spent 11 years on the corporate side of insurance before deciding to take the leap. She opened her first office in South Austin, relocated to Cedar Park in 2016, then bought her current location in March, 2021. Her education consists of several industry designations and licenses along with a BS from LSU and MBA from University of New Orleans.
Jimmy Yen, or ‘the Acu Sensei’ as he’s known on social media, is an acupuncturist who started his first business in 2007 called Achieve Integrative Health, and after 15 years turned it into the #1 rated acupuncture & wellness clinic in the US with over 700 five star google reviews. In addition to being a social media influencer with a combined following of 4 Million followers, Jimmy is also a Faith driven Entrepreneur that has expanded his business portfolio to include other thriving ventures in health coaching, business automation coaching, and his current venture a healthcare technology startup aimed at disrupting the current healthcare system.
Dr. Jodie West has been working in the optometry field since 1996 and is very active in the Leander community. Aside from the Leander Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, she also participates in the Literacy Program with Leander ISD, this program helps elementary students improve their reading levels. Dr. West and her husband have also participated in vision specific mission trips; and have helped with local disasters by providing eye exams, glasses and contacts to people displaced by these events in the Texas area. Texas Family Eyecare also participates in the vision program with Hill Country Ministries and VSP.

The Leander Chamber of Commerce must maintain a cancellation policy for events in order to properly plan for catering, venue expenses and marketing efforts. Unless stated otherwise, Chamber reservations must be cancelled 3 business days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund. All refunds will be issued within 10 days after the event. No refunds will be issued for nonattendance. You are welcome to send another member of your staff in your place.
