Janice represents the 41st District, which includes Mercer Island, Newcastle, Beaux Arts Village, and portions of Bellevue, Issaquah, and Sammamish. She is a member of the Transportation, Capital Budget, Housing, and Local Government Committees, and continues to serve as a Bellevue City Councilmember.
