The theme of Centro’s Annual Gala this year is DREAMS IN BLOOM.  It will be held Saturday, September 28th at the Q Center in St. Charles. Centro de Información’s mission is empowering the Latino and immigrant community to integrate effectively. The Gala theme will focus on  Centro’s clients’ dreams that have been blooming in the Elgin Area, where many immigrants have already grown strong roots.

A trusted organization serving since 1972 and the Northwest Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Non-Profit Organization of the Year in 2023, Centro’s impact in the community is profound. In 2023, more than 1,000 families were helped with successful public benefit applications to gain access to healthcare and nutritious food. More than 3,300 individuals received emergency food donations from Centro’s pantry. More than 1,500 immigration forms and applications were completed on behalf of clients, including TPS (temporary protected status), asylum, citizenship / naturalization, and more. More than $400,000 in financial support were successfully secured from the Immigrant Family Support Project for more than 200 clients in crisis situations.

To learn more about Centro’s impact, we invite you read our Annual Report on our website:  www.centrodeinformacion.org.  In order to continue providing these critical programs and services, we need the community’s support!  Gala tickets and sponsorships are available on our website also. Early bird registration deadline is August 16.  The evening will include a cocktail hour, reception, dinner, award presentations, dancing and more. After party location to be determined.
