ManagedPAY, in collaboration with Caldera Wealth Management, invites you to join our upcoming webinar on July 18th. This session is designed to educate employers about the new Federal mandate Secure 2.0 and the local Senate Bill in Nevada, S.B. 305. These mandates require employers to offer retirement benefits, marking a significant shift in employer responsibilities.

While these changes are currently specific to federal and Nevada state requirements, they represent a growing trend that is likely to be adopted by other states in the near future. It's crucial for employers to stay informed and prepared for these evolving regulations.

The webinar will provide valuable insights into the following options for retirement benefits:

- Company Plan: Company Sponsored
- NV State Plan: Nevada State
- Association Plan: Chamber of Commerce
- Multiple Employer Plan: PEO Plans – ManagedPAY

Our goal is to offer an informative session that does not promote any one solution, but rather educates employers on the various options available to them. This knowledge is essential for making informed decisions that align with both compliance requirements and the best interests of your employees.

Why Attend:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of new federal and state retirement benefit mandates.
- Explore various retirement plan options suitable for your organization.
- Learn about the implications of these mandates for your business operations.

We encourage all Boulder City Chamber members to participate in this collaborative webinar. Your involvement will ensure you are well-prepared to navigate these new requirements effectively.

We look forward to having you join us for this important and educational event.

This is a free event for grades 3-12, sponsored by the United Methodist Church.

Pre-registration required

Join us for a fun week at Drama Camp where we will learn all about acting and theater!  Our drama ministry is designed, not as a religious program, but a program to teach children and teens about kindness and teamwork.  We will work on building confidence and self-esteem, providing an opportunity for all children to shine!  During the camp, we will introduce a larger play production as an option to participate in, following Drama Camp.  This play will be performed in the fall.  There will be no auditions, as everyone can have a part.

This year we will be performing "The Sound of Music".

Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs !

The Boulder City Library has a new StoryWalk® set up downtown! You can stop by the library for a map, or check out this link HERE for the map. We’ve also published it below.

It begins at Desert Sun Realty and continues through thirteen downtown businesses, ending at Cards O’ Glee. Kids of all ages will be able to see the story presented on laminated pages displayed as they walk and stop at several locations along the way. When the kids complete the walk, they fill out a form and get a free button or sticker.

The story is Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs written and illustrated by Mo Willems. Mo Willems is a popular children’s author and illustrator and has been featured as the Inaugural Kennedy Center Education Artist-in-Residence. You can learn more about him and check out some cool activities HERE.

You can find out more information about the book HERE.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. StoryWalk® programs can be found around the world in Germany, Canada, England, Bermuda, Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan and South Korea!
