3/4/2024 | Join us March 4, 2024 with speaker Krzysztof Zimowski concertmaster of Opera SW orchestra & retired concertmaster of the New Mexico Philharmonic. In October 1986, he began his long association with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, becoming associate Concertmaster in 1995 and Concertmaster and soloist in 1999. Born in Wroclaw, Poland, violinist Krzysztof Zimowski began his musical studies at the age of 6. He was also appointed Concertmaster of the State Opera Orchestra in Wroclaw while still a student at the Wroclaw Academy of Music. He graduated in 1977 with a Master’s degree (high honors) in violin performance. *** The Rotary Club of Albuquerque (RCA) was founded over 105 years ago as a civic organization of business and professional leaders. RCA, with 140 leaders, is the largest Rotary Club of the seven Rotary Clubs in Albuquerque. Through its non-profit foundation, ARCF, the Rotary Club of Albuquerque presently supports numerous philanthropic projects related to youth education, hunger, health and literacy. more info... |
