It’s Zion Lutheran School Auction Time!! What is that you ask? A long-standing tradition, our Annual Auction is our biggest community-building event of the year, and we want YOU to attend! The event will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Your Event Space in Alton, IL.

The Auction is a community event, is accessible to all, and gives us each time to have fun, get to know one another in fun and fellowship, and raise money for our beloved ZLS. We chose a fun Roaring 20’s theme, and we have some hotsy-totsy live entertainment planned this year!

The money we raise helps to support all aspects of the school that directly benefit the children that attend.

To ensure our collective success, the Auction Committee solicits local businesses, vendors of ZLS, alumni families, our Zion Congregation, and of course, our current families to participate! We are looking for items to make gift baskets (or donated baskets), gift certificates to local restaurants, coffee shops, stores, sporting events tickets, theater or music events, membership passes, etc. It could also be a service that could be offered (lawn care, tax prep, cake decorating class, piano lessons, etc.). If you’re able to, you could even donate time in a vacation home, timeshare, airline points, hotel nights, or to an event that you think would be a good contribution to the live auction. Sponsorship opportunities are also available to help promote your business, a loved one’s business, or celebrate a special occasion/recognition. If you are able to donate or if you have friends/family that are able to donate or sponsor, we would greatly appreciate the collaborative efforts and support of our church family. Every donation, however big or small, helps to make the event a success!
