Free Trees to Residents

DUARTE RESIDENTS - RECEIVE A FREE TREE THIS FALL!

The CIRCLE 3.0 team, in partnership with City of Duarte, will be giving away 200 FREE rees to residents of your city!

The trees range from one to five gallons and will be planted by West Coast Arborists, Inc. after Duarte's 62 Anniversary Picnic.

Trees available are: Australian willow, Brisbank box, coast live oak, and tipu tree.

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS September 26.

Deadline to apply:  November 27 at 12:00 p.m.

General requirements:

Must maintain a Current residence in the City
Have no felony convictions
Submit an application statement of interest
(Attaching a resume is not required but highly encouraged

Positions available:

Planning Commission
Public Safety Commission
Parks and Recreation Commission
Economic Development Commission
Traffic Safety Commission
Public Services Commission

With the exception of one two-year open position with the Public Services Commission, members are appointed for four-year terms.

Application forms are available at City Hall, Public Safety, the Duarte Teen and Senior Centers, as well as an online refillable version on the City's website: www.accessduarte.com and must be received by the City Manager's Office at Duarte City Hall (1600 Huntington Dr.) by 12:00 p.m. on November 27.

Meet at the San Gabriel Canyon Environmental Education Center
Poor weather may cause cancellation of an event.
Call 626-443-2297 and press #223 anytime after 5:00 p.m. the day before the event to verify event status.

Students can earn community service hours.
All ages welcome
Adult supervision of children is required
