District 7 seeks your input! One of the district’s priorities is to engage the community and ensure those who live and work in D7 have a voice in its future.

ENGAGE District 7, created as part of the implementation of our strategic plan, is a combined team of District 7 employees and stakeholders. Engage District 7 is hosting a series of community engagement meetings for your input on how to meet the facility needs for all District 7 students now and in the future. The program is designed to ensure the district’s work in the future is guided by a facility improvement plan developed “For Our Community By Our Community.”

Parents, staff and community members are encouraged to participate in ENGAGE District 7. During the sessions, participants will learn more about topics such as Planning Priorities for the D7 facilities and will engage with other members of the community on what’s most important now and what projects can wait until later. Each session will feature an interactive work activity with fellow community participants to help identify the priorities to move D7 schools forward. The results of the community engagement sessions will be included in a series of recommendations that will be presented to the D7 Board of Education.

Everyone is encouraged to participate and help D7 build a facility improvement plan for the future.

BJC has partnered with Consociate Health to develop a direct-to-employer (D2E) health benefit plan that can help self-funded employers reduce medical and pharmacy costs and associated risks. BJC's D2E plan gives employers, employees and their dependents a high-quality health benefit option with lower out-of-pocket costs and easier access to care.

Marketed under the name “BJC HealthSolutions,” the plan will be offered to self-funded employers with 10 or more employees in greater St. Louis, including the Metro East, Sullivan and Farmington areas.

BJC HealthSolutions features a customized and integrated network of BJC facilities and clinicians, which includes BJC Medical Group, Washington University Physicians, and other key health care partners. Working together, the care delivery network provides a comprehensive scope of services ranging from local primary care to world-class specialty care, in addition to effective patient navigation and comprehensive care management.

To roll this program out, BJC Christian Hospital will host an informational symposium on October 20, 2022 from 9-11 a.m. The event will be held in the atrium of the Deitrick Building located at 11133 Dunn Rd in St. Louis, Missouri.

At the symposium, guests will hear directly from Hospital President Rick Stevens, Dr. Douglas Pogue (BJC Medical Group) and from Assured Partners. According to Stevens, "Our approach is different, and we will ask you to think differently about how you manage the dollars allocated to your health plan. This plan will give you control and flexibility -- and we have a proven track record that it works."

To attend the symposium please RSVP to:
