“Frickin' funny, hella heartfelt, and badass brilliant!” - DC Metro Theatre Arts

Nina is a newbie in the world of competitive air guitar. Joining a clique of super-committed rock n’ roll nerds, she’s taken on a journey towards ultimate air guitar self-actualization: AIRNESS, the indescribable state of being that can only happen when you’re not just faking it…but letting go and living it.

SHADOWLAND STAGES is excited to produce the region’s premiere of this rock n’ roll comedy, which takes you into the world of competitive air guitar. Loud, fast and funny, AIRNESS is a laugh riot that reminds us that everything we need to rock in life, is already inside of us. Winner of the prestigious 2018 Osborn New Play Award, given by the American Theatre Critics Association.
