Members are encouraged to bring a guest with them who they think would benefit from FACC membership - the normal guest fee of $25 will be waived for this luncheon. The program for the event will be networking-focused so that members and guests alike can make connections and meet new people. Hear from Alliance Credit Union management and staff, connect and network with attendees, learn about the credit union and services it has to offer businesses, and enjoy coffee and light refreshments. | 7/19/2024 | Nooter/Eriksen, is an engineering company which designs and supplies heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) for the power industry, located in Fenton MO. We are hosting a free event to introduce and encourage participation by girls in engineering. Women are typically underrepresented in the field and we hope to educate girls about the opportunities in engineering and encourage more women to enter the profession. We want women in engineering to become the norm. It will be a fun half day of learning and include hands on engineering activities as well as a discussion about careers with women engineers. The Fenton Chamber is committed to meeting members where they are. Through the "In Your Neighborhood" program, we make it EASIER for our members to connect with Fenton Chamber staff and fellow members, as well as meeting fellow business owners near them that they may not meet at other events. With each of these IYN events, we select/target a "neighborhood" location by choosing a meeting place for breakfast/lunch/after hours. All are welcome to each IYN event, but we do make an effort to personally invite members (event non-members) within close distance of that location to attend.
