Iowa Learning Farms' educational mission features farmer-to-farmer and Iowan-to-Iowan community building. A cornerstone of our outreach are field days held with local farmers that exemplify stewardship and conservation. These are now offered both as in-person and virtual events and are free to attend. Additional outreach offerings include webinars, farmer bootcamps, conservation programming on both in-field (tillage, cover crops, etc.) and edge-of-field (bioreactors, wetlands, saturated buffers, etc.) practices, and a podcast series. If you would like to partner on a field day or request a presenter, please contact Liz Ripley at ejuchems@iastate.edu
