Starting at 11:00 a.m. You are invited for the inaugural NMB GIS Day at the Julius Littman Theater Lobby (17011 NE 19th Avenue, NMB, 33162) The City of North Miami Beach continues to invest and to promote the use of state-of-the-art technology to transform delivering services to residents, businesses, and visitors to the City. GIS is a critical solution used to map boundaries, roadways, and track assets. GIS is a scientific framework for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing geographic data to help make better decisions. Geographic Information System (GIS) Day will include technology demonstrations, presentations, prizes, and a scavenger hunt while introducing students to modern cartography.  |
