23rd Annual TOUCH-A-TRUCK Day at Meadow Wood Sports Complex, Woodland Park. Wednesday, August 9th 10:00am – 12:00pm, FREE  event!

Kids come climb and crawl on more than 20 big trucks and emergency vehicles. Vehicles you can expect to experience are Fire Engines, Ambulance, Dump Trucks, Snow Plow, Street Sweeper, Police Car, Back Hoe, School Bus and more.

The Spanish were among the earliest European explorers of Colorado as they searched unsuccessfully for gold. With the Louisiana Purchase, the US Army was sent to explore and map the new purchase, with ongoing exploration by the mountain men, and government mapping in search of a route for the railroads to California. Dress warm and join us for this interesting period in the History of the Pikes Peak region!
