Do you want to put some more miles on your snowshoes?  Join volunteer naturalists, Joe and Felicia Mendygral for this 2.5 mile snowshoe hike.  We’ll start at Elk Meadow Trailhead with a quick warm up then get on the trail.  When we take a break, we will discuss snow traps and how to avoid them.  This is the second snowshoe hike in the series of three snowshoe hikes where the distance will increase with each hike.  Don’t forget to bring water, a power snack, and lunch. If you still have energy after the snowshoe, Mueller is a great place to sled. Need snowshoes or guidance on putting on a new pair? Arrive at 10am and you can borrow a pair (first come first serve).

Will they be able to outsmart the wolf, or will they become part of the wolf’s supper? Come on up to the DRC to find out what happens. Stay after the show and say “hello” to Joey and Kira and make a fun craft to take home. Show is included with museum admissions. Call for pricing.
