This committee meets in March and August on the second Wednesday of the month at noon.

Join us on August 22nd for our August Membership Luncheon at Herrin Civic Center as we "Taco Bout Tourism with Visit SI"

Food service begins at 11:45 a.m. and the program begins at noon.

Sergio's Mexican Restaurant will be catering a taco bar for the event. Southside Lumber is our sponsor for the event.

Pre-registration ends on August 20th. (Please note: If you pre-register and can not attend, you are still responsible for paying your open invoice if you do not cancel twenty-four hours in advance.)

The 2023 Southern Illinois Legislative Summit will take place on August 24th at the Pavilion. This event is an informative discussion between Federal & Springfield leaders, local elected officials, and the Southern Illinois business community. Attendees share lunch, information, and political awareness of issues facing our area.

Elected officials are encouraged to attend and present about programs and efforts that impact the Southern Illinois region. Members of the media are included in this event and attendee questions will be screened before the Q&A session.

Schedule:
11:00 am: Lunch
11:30 am: Legislative Updates followed by Q&A session. After the Legislative updates, networking with community and state leaders will take place till 1:30 pm.
 

Menu: Provided by Bake Me Happy, Food Co.

Roasted Chicken Piccata, Pot Roast with Gravy, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Honey and Herb Glazed Baby Carrots, Side Salad with Ranch or House Vinaigrette dressing and all fixings, Dessert, Tea with sweetener options, and Water.

Housekeeping Note
If your plans change and you can't attend, please call the office by noon the day before the luncheon. We encourage you to send a co-worker to represent your organization and network, otherwise you will be billed for your lunch. (Our catering numbers are traditionally finalized the Friday before the luncheon.)
