Carion Wind Quintet Concert at Cedarhurst

Sunday | March 1, 2020 | 7:30 pm
Mitchell Museum Performance Hall

The Carion Wind Quintet brings a truly unique chamber music experience to audiences. The ensemble fascinates with its carefully choreographed and dramatized performances of classical and modern works, making music on stage visible, adding a new dimension to traditional concerts. Their trend setting music videos on YouTube have generated close to a million views. The Ligeti performance alone has over 400,000. The ensemble has received most favourable critique for their interpretation of Carl Nielsen, french composers like Jean Françaix and especially the Six Bagatelles by György Ligeti.

Tickets: $25 each | $20 for members of Cedarhurst | students with ID $5

Cedarhurst Photography Club 2020

The Cedarhurst Photography Club is an organization designed to build a community of photographers that meet monthly to share ideas, techniques and information to help each member grow in their craft whether novice or advanced. This group typically meets the third Monday of each month at Shrode Art Center from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Clubs are a great opportunity to learn more about your favorite art medium as well as develop friendships and a sense of community.

We encourage photographers to visit the next club meeting and check it out! If you like it, please come back and get more involved. After your second visit we encourage you to become a member of Cedarhurst (please see link below.) Once you are a member of Cedarhurst you can participate in all our clubs, including the "Cedarhurst Center for the Arts Photography Club" Facebook Group for no additional membership fee. Being a member of Cedarhurst comes with many benefits beyond the art center affinity groups.
