4/14/2022 | Join us in celebrating the opening of Story Book Trail. We will meet at the pedestrian bridge at the Forest Lake Trail Head (AKA FLATS Trail Head), near the Thousand Hills Dining Lodge. The Adair Co. Public Library and Thousand Hills State Park have set up StoryWalk boards (or signs) along the Forest Lake Trail (the concrete trail begins by the dining lodge, towards the beach, around the beach parking lot and towards campground 2) to promote literacy and time outside! Every 150 feet or so along the trail, pages of the book are on display, so you read as you walk. Books stretched over half a mile will be rotated out monthly. more info... |
