Three local authors who are selling their books in the library will talk briefly about their work and read a very short passage. They will then be available to talk about them with anyone who is interested and to sign copies.

Linda Seidel, a retired English teacher from Truman State university, presents several playful but profound vignettes in her lightly fictionalized memoir, The Belinda Chronicles.

Monica Barron, also retired from the English department at TSU, writes poetry and nonfiction and has served as an editor for feminist and social justice publications.  In Prairie Architecture her poems share her take on the prairies, meadows, lakes, and varied terrain she and we inhabit.

Maria Coffman is an osteopathic physician who is associated with Boone Hospital and a member of the faculty at A. T. Still University. In line with her innovative practice, in Booby Traps, A Book of Bras, Breasts, and Bands, she shares her decades of experience observing everyday women and helps us to make choices that will lead us to our best health.
