The Networking Luncheon is a great way to introduce yourself to the Kirkland business community. Please bring business cards and any materials you want to pass out about your business. 

There is no fee paid to the Chamber to attend the Business Networking Luncheon; however, we do require that you order lunch from the establishment. Each person will receive their own check for their order. And to sweeten the experience, Sweetgreen will provide dessert for those who attend. 

Pre-registration is appreciated!

Parking: Sweetgreen is located at The Village at Totem Lake. Plenty of parking is available on site.

This event promises to be an exceptional opportunity to connect with fellow local businesses, discover what makes our community thrive, and showcase the unique aspects of your own business. This is also a wonderful way to celebrate the vibrancy of our local business scene and expand your network. Make sure to bring plenty of business cards to network. 

The event will be catered by Hector's Catering Company. Warm finger foods and wine will be served. Councilmember, Jay Arnold, will also be in attendance.

This is a crash course in the investment required of local small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs to both compete in a pitch competition and scale their businesses: time, effort, and a little outside help. Specific topics will include basic legalities such as organization, licensing, and taxes; an assessment of skillset, risk, and needed resources; and an overview of the competition, including requirements, schedule, learning deliverables, and prizes.

2:00- 4:00pm LGBTQ+ Roundtable--Kirkland City Hall

This LGBTQ+ business roundtable welcomes community leaders, small business owners, and LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs from Kirkland to discuss issues affecting their business or industry, all through a lens of inclusivity and equity. Additionally, we will chat on marketing, including digital and social media trends for 2024 as well as ways to communicate effectively as to and for the LGBTQ+ community, with the hopes of welcoming tourism dollars to Kirkland. GSBA will offer opportunities and available resources to business owners in attendance from Washington state’s LGBTQ+ and allied chamber of commerce.
