Ignite Kirkland Community Giving Campaign: A Crowdsourcing Effort to Support Local Nonprofits

The Kirkland Parks & Community Foundation (KPCF) proudly presents the Ignite Kirkland Community Giving Campaign, a crowd sourcing initiative to support 27 local nonprofits and their impactful projects. Running now through Giving Tuesday, this campaign invites everyone to come together and make a real difference by funding projects that strengthen youth programs, public art, wellness initiatives, and parks across Kirkland. With over $130,000 in needs identified, we’re calling on the community to help us spread the word and ignite support for these local causes.

Sponsored by Amazon, the campaign allows donors to choose specific projects to support or contribute to a general fund that ensures all initiatives receive needed resources. Nonprofits featured in this year’s campaign include Toys for Kids, Friends of Youth, Kirkland Arts Center, Pride Across the Bridge, Stronger Families, and more. This is an opportunity to not only give but also to actively rally your network to help build a stronger, more connected Kirkland.

Our annual Art That Gives Back event is back, featuring artist C. Bennett along with Morgan Zion. Adding to the evening's prestige, Jonathan Batista, Principal Dancer of the PNW Ballet, will lend his support to this heartfelt cause. We anticipate an emotionally charged and passionately driven event, dedicated to making a real difference for our neighbors in need.

ABOUT C.Bennett:

Iconic Neo-Pop Artist C.Bennett combines neo-expressionist technique along with iconic images and pop themes to produce work that is wary of modern society. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV he has his own unique style of art that combines an urban street style with the use of found media, providing the artist with an endless supply of complex and relevant subject matter. Each painting allows the viewer to step into a nostalgic dream and the creative mind of the artist.

ABOUT Morgan Zion:

Morgan Zion is an artist, muralist, and corporate tech professional with over 15 years of experience, known for creating impactful murals for clients like Amazon, Deloitte, and Behr Paint. A former collegiate athlete turned wellness advocate, Morgan combines yoga and meditation with a career as a speaker on tech, art, and wellness. Through live painting events and community paint days, Morgan inspires others and brings vibrancy to neighborhoods. Each piece celebrates life, nature, and the joy of self-expression.
