The Fitness Walking Club visits each of our trail parks throughout the season. 
Walk at least once at each park (5 trails) to win a fun reward at the last walk.
Each walk is approximately 2 miles.  You can walk at your own pace, walk longer, or turn around at any time, to tailor to your personal fitness level.
Bring someone along and/or meet new friends!  Enjoy the health benefits of walking in our beautiful parks and connecting with others.

 

Patchwork Trails combines exercise, education, friendship, and fun!
Each guided nature walk will showcase seasonal beauty unique to each property. 
In partnership with LaGrange County Public Library. Walks guided by Park Nature Interpreter.
 

• Preliminary Concept Display: Attendees will have the opportunity to view and provide input on initial design concepts for future trails.
• Format: Guests are welcome to attend at their convenience and stay as long as they wish during the event.
• Interactive Stations: Engage with the HWC Engineering planning team and provide feedback through interactive stations.
• Community Forum: Speak with board members of LaGrange County Trails and the LaGrange County Community Foundation staff to learn about initiatives to support trail development in LaGrange County.
• Refreshments and Activities: Enjoy complimentary fall refreshments, along with a kid’s activity area.
