Come and be sew-cial and meet other quilters and sewers in the community. 
Community Sew-cials are held at Irvington Baptist Church parish hall. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm and you can stay for all or part of the time. The church will provide tables, chairs, and electricity. Bring all the supplies you need for the day as well as lunch, beverages, and snacks. Or, head across the street to The Local or The Office Bistro and grab something to eat and drink.
Proceeds from your reservation fee of $10 will be donated to the church for the use of their facilities.

Need sewing supplies? Stop by Sewlovelee (4504 Irvington Road), right down the road from the church.

Beginner
Skill Details:
All Sewers and skill levels are welcome
Requirements:
Please bring your own sewing supplies including machine, cutting mat, rotary cutter, iron and ironing surface.

Join us for a Proper English Tea at Northumberland Public Library on Sunday April 23rd at 3 PM.  Tickets are $20 and all proceeds benefit the purchase of a new mobile library.  A limit of 50 tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased at the Library.

CHAMBER MUSIC FOR GUITAR AND STRINGS TO BE FEATURED

IN CONCERT ON APRIL 30 AT GOOD LUCK CELLARS

The Northern Neck Orchestra presents “Music for Guitar and Strings,” a concert of chamber music featuring a delightful mix of compositions from South America and Europe that celebrate the exceptional beauty of the guitar, on April 30 at 2 p.m. at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, in Kilmarnock. Tickets for the concert are $30.00 and may be purchased at the check-in desk or online at www.northernneckorchestra.org.

The program showcases Niccolo Paganini’s Cantabile for Violin and Guitar and Sonata Concertata, Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas No. 5 for Violin and Guitar, Federico Moreno Torroba ‘s Suite Castellana, Isaac AlbeĢniz’ Rumores de la Caleta, Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in D Major for Guitar and Strings, Luigi Boccherini’s Grave assai and Fandango from the Guitar Quintet No. 4 in D Major and a Tango Medley.

The final concert in the Northern Neck Orchestra 2022-2023 Chamber Music Series will be performed by guitarist Daniel Duarte, violinist Moises Cunha, the concertmaster and principal violinist of the Northern Neck Orchestra, and members of the Northern Neck Orchestra String Quartet.
