9/10/2023 | The Northern Neck Orchestra’s 2023-2024 Chamber Music series will open with “Clarinet Trios,” featuring magnificent music for clarinet, violin and piano by Aram Khachaturian, Darius Milhaud, Olivier Messiaen, Igor Stravinsky and Paul Schoenfield. The concert will be performed on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road in Kilmarnock by Moises Cunha, violin, Iura de Rezende, clarinet, and André Golbert, piano. Cunha, the Concertmaster and Principal Violinist of the Northern Neck Orchestra is Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Series. Tickets for “Clarinet Trios” are $35.00. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm and you can stay for all or part of the time. The church will provide tables, chairs, and electricity. Bring all the supplies you need for the day as well as lunch, beverages, and snacks. Or, head across the street to The Local or The Office Bistro and grab something to eat and drink. Proceeds from your reservation fee of $10 will be donated to the church for the use of their facilities. Need sewing supplies? Stop by Sewlovelee (4504 Irvington Road), right down the road from the church.
