The clarinet soloist is Matthew Goodman, who has been praised by the NY Times for his “beautiful range of colors,” , and was one of the original orchestra members for Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. In his book, Mr. Barnett takes readers on a virtual journey to eleven pairs of stone buildings and quarries in the six New England states.
