| 12/3/2023 | Gather family and friends and join the community for the Maupin Holiday Festival: Merry & Bright 2023! During the event, kids and families can make holiday crafts at the Library. Santa will arrive at 2:30 p.m., and kids can visit and take pictures in the North Pole. Get a warm holiday drink and receive a free commemorative mug. The Wamic Fire Department will also be selling hot dogs in the park. Nonprofits, businesses, sports teams, or groups of friends can join the lamppost decorating contest for a chance to win $250! Find more details about the contest and register for a lamppost to decorate here: https://form.jotform.com/233055994391060 There will also be carols, Christmas music, storytime, and warming stations in the park. The event culminates with the traditional Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. We hope you'll join the community for this festive event!
